"I have been dancing at BBAD for 14 years and it has truly become a home to me. Miss Belinda cares about each and every dancer not just as a student, but as one of her own. She is always pushing the dancers to be the best they can be and truly believes in each and every one. From the experiences and skills she provides us with, I have been able to go on and expand my dance career. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without the love and guidance from Miss Belinda. "Our almost 16 year-old daughter has been dancing with Belinda for 10 years. Belinda is so much more than a dance teacher. While teaching Mary technique, flexibility, and grace, Belinda has also helped grow Mary’s self-confidence, poise, kindness and leadership. Mary has grown into an accomplished, elegant dancer, who is equally at home on stage and off. Performances at BBAD are sure to be entertaining with a huge dose of excellence. The dancers learn technique, discipline, and perseverance. Mary would say that she is grateful for the opportunity to learn the art of dance in a place where she has made life-long friends, learned functional skills (public speaking!), and has had fun doing it all."

"I danced at BBAD from 2008-2014 and learned so much more than how to dance. Not only did I gain lifelong friends, but I learned self-discipline, grew my confidence and developed a strong work ethic that I carry with me in my current career in digital pathology software, as an Applications Scientist. My role often requires me to train customers, sometimes presenting to a room full of people. After dancing on stage throughout my teenage years, that was a piece of cake! I always look forward to return to BBAD when I get the chance, whether it be for the occasional adult class or as an alumna in the recital. BBAD has always felt like home and I treasure the evenings I spent hanging out at the studio as a teenager. Miss Belinda is an amazing dancer, a patient teacher and above all, the best mentor in life!"

I danced at BBAD for about 20 years. I was so fortunate to learn so much with a teacher that never gives up on her students. She always believes in every single student and knows more about their abilities than they do. Dancing here has been some of my favorite memories.

I started dancing with Miss Belinda when I was three years old, and 23 years later I can confidently say that I wouldn’t be who I am today without her and the community of dancers she has built. The dance training I received at BBAD of course taught me so much about dance as an art form and sport, but also taught me lifelong lessons about hard work, dedication, being part of a team, and the joy of doing something you love. During my time dancing at BBAD I had countless opportunities to dance at community events and even at Disney World, compete in the Miss New Hampshire Teen and Miss New Hampshire programs, and develop my leadership skills as an assistant teacher and mentor to younger dancers. The community at BBAD gave me some of my dearest friendships and some of my fondest memories. Since graduating high school in 2015, I continued dancing at the collegiate level and now at an adult dance company in the greater Washington, DC area. Miss Belinda helped tremendously in setting me up for a life of success and joy, and I will forever be grateful for my years dancing at the Belinda Bridgeman Academy of Dance.

Belinda Bridgeman Academy of Dance is more then just a place to learn dance...these dancers learn self esteem.. confidence.. discipline and team work! I have been involved with BBAD since the 1990s. Miss Belinda is a very talented dancer/teacher and former Miss NH and owner of the studio.She teachers all classes and is invested in each and every child as if they are her own! My daughter spends hours at the studio a week it's her home away from home! The improvement in her dance skills amaze me each year .She can be a little shy and reserved most of the time but Miss Belinda has built her confidence up so much that she been able to perform outstanding Dance solos! She has been a dancer with Belinda since she was 4yrs old now soon to be 16! She plans on moving on to a performing arts school after graduation to continue her love of dance and we Belinda for helping make her dreams a reality!
